What sort of Paint Feed does the Fuji Paint Sprayer have?

This is a gravity feed HVLP system. While not really great for big jobs, this particular model does an excellent job of giving you control over the final results.

Can the Spray Paint Nozzles be Adjusted?

Yes, it’s a bit loud—but honestly, the trade-off is worth it. If you’re using this sprayer indoors, hearing protection is a smart move. The noise is noticeable, especially in enclosed spaces.

That said, the accuracy of your spray more than makes up for it. You can dial in the perfect atomization in seconds, which means less overspray and a smoother finish every time.

Cleanup is a breeze too. As long as you’ve taken the time to mask things off before starting, wrapping up is quick and painless.

What Material can I Spray with the Fuji Semi Pro 2?

This is a spray system because it does a great job with more than just paint. We particularly loved the way it applies varnish.

Water-based polyurethane materials also sprayed well when using this Fuji system.  If you want to spray paint, in fact, you’ll need to purchase a different air cap to get the job done right.

This model comes with air cap #13 and air cap #6 works the best for latex paint. The latex also needs to be thinned down somewhat for the best results. 

Overspray with the Fuji Semi Pro 2

Even though this spray system doesn’t create much pollution in the air, there’s still a light mist that drifts around while you work.

If you’re not careful, that mist can settle onto your floors, counters, and furniture. When spraying indoors, it’s a good idea to turn off the HVAC system and cover everything you want to keep clean. A little prep goes a long way in protecting your space.
